The Dip

The Dip is a folk Catalan mythological animal. The descriptions of XVII century looks like some kind of evil giant dog, and is an emissary of the devil.
The challenge is always to explain the story by the composition and light.
I usually like to paint from scratch to see what works and what doesn't, and then translate it into realism and see how I can improve the composition or solve some elements in a more original way.
